The role
This is an ideal opportunity for a creative and motivated professional, with experience in account development, to fulfil a key role within the Account Excellence department. You will be responsible for representing some of the most iconic brands in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors. Your key responsibility will be to maintain our world class reputation by providing premier account management to our leading high street clients. You will also make our customers aware of the additional services we can provide them with courtesy of our dynamic new technology platform and eco-system of partners. You will be working with our expert teams, to build business intelligence reports that identify key objectives, capable of delivering game changing outcomes within your accounts. Your collaborative nature, transparency and commitment to achieving these goals will lead to trusted, long term client relationships that deliver you personal success and a role in the future of retail IT!

Key responsibilities of the role
• Utilising strategic reviews to expand our footprint within our leading brand accounts.
• Providing our clients with clear lines of communication and the highest levels of consideration.
• Responding in a focussed, dynamic and organised way to concerns raised by market leading customers.
• Identifying customer challenges and needs and building perfect solutions with the help of our BMc experts.
• Working with our data team to build client and market analysis presentations.
• Helping to build industry intelligence and competitor dossiers to feed into the Bid & Commercial teams.
• Stay abreast of all things technology in conjunction with our eco-system of digital partners.
• Work with marketing to optimise lead generation, referrals and testimonials from our “big fish” names.
• Identify achievable KPI marginal gains and work collaboratively internally and externally to achieve them.

Education and Experience
• Educated to degree level (or similar professional qualification) in business, sales or financing preferred
• Knowledge of Retail & Hospitality sectors ideal but not essential – we can teach a dynamic individual!
• Other relevant experience could include travel management, recruitment, insurance or telecoms.
• An solid level of understanding and operation around Microsoft® Office 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Pipedrive or similar CRM solution an advantage.
• Success delivering live presentations would be beneficial.
• At least 3 years selling into large client accounts.
• Spreadsheet competency would be seen as a bonus!

• Strong commercial skills and grasp of maths concepts around price build, margins and cost.
