Barron McCann has secured a major three-year contract with FTSE 100 sports betting and gaming giant Entain plc, delivering comprehensive retail technology support across its UK Ladbrokes and Coral retail estate.
Following a highly competitive tender process, Barron McCann has been selected to provide multi-device engineering support and lifecycle infrastructure services across more than 2,000 retail locations nationwide. The agreement includes seven-day engineering support, extended operating hours and a four-hour hardware fix service, helping ensure critical retail technology remains operational across Entain’s extensive retail estate.

Barron McCann was selected following a rigorous evaluation process, with its specialist engineering capabilities, advanced workshop facilities and sustainable approach to hardware lifecycle management recognised as key differentiators. Through component-level repairs and innovative technologies, including custom 3D printing for legacy OEM parts, Barron McCann extends the life of critical retail hardware while helping reduce total cost of ownership and unnecessary equipment replacement.
The partnership was successfully mobilised through a seamless three-month transition programme, completed during the operational peak of the FIFA World Cup. Every field and remote engineer supporting the contract completed specialist technical training at Barron McCann’s Derby Training Academy before launch, ensuring complete familiarity with Entain’s bespoke retail technology environment.
The operational solution also includes a direct ServiceNow-to-ServiceNow integration, enabling real-time fault logging, tracking and automated resource scheduling between both organisations. Alongside engineering support, Barron McCann is also delivering additional sustainability initiatives, including WEEE disposal and equipment tear-down programmes to support responsible asset lifecycle management.
